We are closing in on the half way mark of the College Football season and separating the pretenders from the superstars:
1. Andrew Luck- His numbers aren't as good as some of the other quarterbacks but he's the model of consistency and is the best passer and decision maker in college football. If Luck can knock off Oregon and Washington he's virtually a lock to win the Heisman to go along with being the first pick in the draft.
2. LaMichael James- LaMichael James has been a stud the last few years for Oregon's juggernaut offense, and continues to put up video game stats rushing for 200+ yards in his last 3 games however they've come against Cal, Arizona, and Missouri State. If he can keep it up as Oregon gets into the rough part of their schedule since they still have to play Stanford, Arizona State, Washington, and USC. He also suffered a dislocated elbow and may not even get to play...
3. Landry Jones- He had a career day against Texas and has been the second best quarterback in college football, he threw for 3 touchdowns in the first half in the red river rivalry. The only reason he's not in the top 2 is because he played average at best against then top 5 Florida State throwing only one touchdown and 2 interceptions.
4. Robert Griffin III- RGIII has put up probably the most ridiculous numbers in college football, he has an 80% completion percentage, he's also only thrown 1 interception all season. Sure they have lost one game and still have a tough schedule the rest of the year but RGIII has been the most exciting player this season.
5. Kellen Moore- The most underrated quarterback in college football is Kellen Moore, sure he has thrown four interceptions what a catastrophe, he also lost two receivers to the NFL last year and all he's done is throw for 250+ yards in all but one game this season. Boise State is going to go undefeated but Moore won't win the Heisman because of the conference he plays in.
